We are currently responding to a water main break on Westwood Dr E at Birch St that has caused significant undermining of the roadway in the affected area. Our crews are on site and actively working to repair the break caused by the underground fiber work.
What to Expect:

Repair Duration: Estimated between 2 to 4 hours, depending on the extent of the damage found below the surface.

Traffic Impact: The damaged section of the road will remain closed to all traffic during the repair process. Once repairs are completed, the area will be clearly marked off to prevent access until the road has been repaired. This section of road will be closed over the weekend as we wait for the area to dry for repairs.

Safety Reminder: Please avoid the area and do not attempt to bypass barricades, as the ground is unstable in the location of the repair.

Dear Residents,
Please be advised that due to ongoing underground fiber cabling work in our area, there may be temporary disruptions to water service over the next couple of weeks. The fiber installation project covers approximately 5 miles.
